WHAT TO EXPECT
A WARM WELCOME
You will be greeted by friendly people who will make you feel at home. Our Welcome Desk is staffed and ready to answer any questions and show you around.
SONGS + SINGING
Services are usually about an hour and fifteen minutes long. They begin with the worship team leading us in singing songs of praise to Jesus for all he has done. There is also prayer and a message from the Bible.
A MESSAGE FROM THE BIBLE
A member of our Teaching Team will share a message of hope from the Bible. Our goal is to be continually formed and transformed to resemble Jesus in every aspect of our lives.
EXCITING KIDS ENVIRONMENTS
Kids matter to God and to us! Our desire is to help kids of all ages worship and grow together in age-appropriate, fun environments.
Birth through 6th graders have their own time of worship and learning every Sunday morning during the adult worship service. Follow the signs in the back of the church to check-in your kids. You may want to come a few minutes early.
Middle School students are invited to begin in the main worship service and then will be dismissed to their own class after our time of worship together.
Middle School and High School students have their own service every Wednesday night from 6:00-8:00pm that includes loud games, fun worship, active teaching, and a small group time to participate together.

We know that trying a new church can be a scary thing and we want to help make your first experience as Avalon Church as stress free as possible!
You can even park in one of the “1st time guest” parking spots! (Don’t worry, there are signs!)

When are services?
We have two services each Sunday. Our English service is at 10am and our Spanish service is at noon.
What should I wear?
We’re not picky, just wear what you feel comfortable in. You will find everything from shorts and flip flops to business casual. Come as you are!
Am I welcome if…
Jesus came for and sought out the broken and messed up. That’s all of us. Each and every one of us are invited to begin our journey with Jesus right where we are.

Where do I go in?
Park on the left side of the building and enter the front doors near Tanja King Blvd. If you have kids, you can check them in first behind the building.

What about my kids?
We believe that kids should love being a part of a church family and at Avalon, we make this a priority. Every grade level has age appropriate worship and teaching.
Birth - 6th Grade: Check in your kids before the service behind the church in the kids area.
Middle School: We invite our middle school students to join the rest of the church for worship before they are dismissed to their own class. Our Middle School ministry also meets every Wednesday at 6pm.
High School: Our high school students stay in the service on Sundays and meet every Wednesday at 6pm.
