What Is A Life Group?Life groups meet during the week, typically in homes, and gather for growing relationships and accountability, Bible study and prayer.
I’m New To Avalon Church, When Do I Join A Life Group? If you are experiencing life at the moment, you know that some seasons in life are difficult, others downright hard. God never intended for us to do life alone. Community is a gift from God, meant to help us grow and experience God in fresh and tangible ways. Life groups at Avalon Church are gatherings of people who share life together, study together and pray for one another. If you are new to church, this is a great starting point to be part of something special, to ask questions and think through your faith with a group of people who care for you. Our love for people is not because they have it all together; it’s because people are created by God and Jesus taught us to love him and love others. Now would be a great time to join a life group!
How Do I Join A Life Group?Finding and joining a life group is very simple. If you know someone at Avalon who is already in one, then simply ask to tag along to the next study. Otherwise, browse the life group list and find a group that meets your needs, is near your neighborhood and works with your schedule. A quick call or e-mail to the contact person will get you all the information you need. Finally, plan on attending. The folks in our groups are always happy to have someone new show up.
